About Pauline Barendregt
In her ten years as Head of Design at G-star RAW, Pauline was at the creative helm during the brand’s global surge forward. Leading a design department of 45, she played a vital role in developing G-star’s distinct brand signature, shaping one of the world’s most influential design-driven denim brands.
After her study in fashion design at Charles Montaigne (AMFI) in Amsterdam, she began her career as a trend forecaster for the Dutch Fashion Institute. Then followed tenures as Design Manager at Mac & Maggie, after which she co-founded fashion label Project X. She was Head of Design at jeans label T-R-P before her move to G-star in 2000.
Pauline is lecturer Branded Design at Artez Fashion Institute in Arnhem and is a member of the Design Advisory Committee of Creative Industries Fund NL.
